Junaid Khan recalls his awkward moment with Amitabh Bachchan
When asked if they had experienced any awkward moments around any celebrity, Junaid Khan said, “I believe I’ve heard this story before. Papa keeps saying it. I believe we were at a screening happening at a studio in Film City. I was very young, maybe around four or five years old, or even younger. Bachchan Sahab was shooting there, and Papa is a big fan. Now, I am a big fan too. But at that time, I didn’t know who he was. So, Papa got very excited and took me with him.”
Continuing the actor said, “He asked me, ‘Do you know who this is?’ But I was just four years old, so I said, ‘No’. This memory comes back to me because, about three years later, I was watching KBC. At that time, I was a huge fan. That was probably the first time I really became aware of him. Papa keeps telling me.”
Adding to the same question, Khushi Kapoor answered, “It must have been an awkward moment ever. I must have had many—I was a very loud, trouble-making kid by the looks of it. And, I think I refused to be… I think I must have been traumatized into turning into this person. But I was a huge troublemaker when I was young. I was constantly screaming, shouting, and crying. So, I think I must have had something, but I am not able to recall.”
